Jenny was originally named Mahogany's Just In Time (Genny). She has a small white triangle on the back of her neck, that reminded us of the foresail on our sailboat, the Genny (or Genoa). When it came time to submit her registration, it was obvious she would make a good sailing companion, so we changed her name to Mahogany's First Mate. First Mate is also a play on words referring to the fact that she is a product of Bella's first breeding. Jenny is an escape artist and not afraid of anything. She is very independent, but is the first to want to cuddle.
